My dear grandmother, Mary, turned 90 years young this weekend and we celebrated with 48 of her nearest and dearest friends and family at Simla House at the Spicers Balfour Hotel in New Farm.
It was a beautiful gathering where we were able to honour her and celebrate this incredible milestone. There were a handful of wonderful speeches – Mary’s daughter, Katreena (my Mum), spoke from the heart as we tried to hold back the tears followed by the 3 great grandchildren, Genevieve 15, Ethan 15 and Joshua 12, who shared some delightful stories that had us all laughing.
I’m so thankful to have my remarkable grandmother in my life and I wish her only the very best – here’s to good health, much joy and lots of happiness always!
