I received a text one evening from a friend, asking for help.

A couple whose wedding that she was attending in just 3 days time, had just called her with news that their photographer had left them and they didn’t know what to do.

A quick call that evening to the most amazingly calm bride and a million calls to try to find an available second photographer to shoot with me, and there was no longer panic in the air.

I’m so pleased I was able to photograph this wedding, along with the fabulous Fiona Carson, because I met a really amazing couple who were so down to earth and wonderful to be with.

They were full of life and love for each other and made me laugh all day long.

Stewart and Robyn were surrounded by their closest friends and family as they were married on the lake at Springfield. 

It was the most gorgeous day – full of love and happiness and lots and lots of laughter.

I’m so pleased our paths crossed – enjoy some of my favourite photos from the day.

I’ve known these boys since the day they were born.

In fact, I’ve known their Mum, Helen, since I was a young teenager – so we go a long way back.

It was really great to be asked to photograph them in one of my favourite locations.

They are so fortunate to call these gardens their front yard so it only seemed appropriate to photograph them here.

This session has to be up there as one of the best kept secrets ever!

Karen, mum to Jacob, had organised for her 2 nephews, Oliver and Oscar, 

to sleep over and then come with her to a secret photo session with me the next morning.

This was all planned last August as a Christmas gift to the boy’s parents

and we were all sworn to secrecy!

There was much excited and heaps of laughter as we kept thinking if we could all pull it off.

It was a huge success and the looks on Oliver and Oscar’s parent’s faces were priceless

when they opened their images on Christmas morning.

(Yes, iphone pics were sent to me) 

So now that I’m not part of the biggest secret in history,

I’m excited to share some of my favourite photos from the session.

It was a pleasure to photograph Madalena on this very memorable day – her Confirmation Day.

With her proud parents and her younger sister, Amelia, looking on,

she was as ‘pretty as a picture’ as the saying goes.

What a beautiful way to start the New Year

… an adventure walk climbing through a rainforest and then back down and over the black rocks, 

looking for shells and soaking in the stunning views of the Gold Coast.

There are simply not enough beautiful words to describe baby Jonathon.

I’m in love with his gorgeous, happy go lucky nature

and he was an absolute delight to photograph.

So happy that his big sister Kaitlyn joined him in some photos.

So excited to welcome the New Year 

with this photo taken of 5 month old Jonathon and his almost 3 year old sister, Kaitlyn.

Look how he adores her!

The Wilkie Family chose to have their images printed in a 

custom designed 10×10 inch family album.

I can’t think of a more beautiful keepsake 

and know they will look at their photos over and over again.

Imagine owning an entire book full of photos that tell the story of your family.

I adore these books!

Zara Mila  … is the sweetest little angel.

So petite and delicate and perfect in every way!

 

She gazed into her adoring parent’s eyes for a while 

and then slept, as they say, ‘like a baby’.
