It’s getting closer !
While most of us will be in denial about how close Christmas is,
it is definately fast approaching.
.
So with less than 15 weeks to go, I thought it might be time to make life just a little easier and suggest a beautiful Gift Voucher from Leanne Stamatellos Photography.
.
It’s a thoughtful gift that will put a smile on anyone’s face.
Whether it be a gift for a gorgeous couple who simply want to celebrate their love,
a family who want to remember their children just the way they are,
or maybe a gift for your favourite school teacher from all the students!
.
It is beautifully presented and all ready to be put under the tree.
There is no limit to the value of your Gift Voucher – that’s up to you – and it can be used for any type of session or package.
.
I hope this brings you much joy and happiness and takes alot of the worry about finding the perfect gift this Christmas!
Take care, Leanne
Xmas Mini Sessions!
It’s getting closer to ‘that’ time of the year when St Nick will be knocking at our door and we’ll be wishing we had another month to be organised … yes Christmas!
–
I thought I’d offer something a little more unique this year and a little more fun for the whole family than the traditional family Christmas card. Don’t get me wrong, I love classic, stylish photo shoots but this year I thought we should head towards Christmas with lots of laughter and craziness!
–
After seeing how much fun everyone had at Paris’ recent photo booth fashion shoot, I knew this was the way to go this year – after all, who doesn’t love to dress up with quirky props and make funny faces?! The Dad’s will be begging you to let them have a family session like this one again.
–
Of course, I’m happy to whisk you away for 5-10 minutes to grab a ‘sensible shot’ in case you want to give nanna a ‘real’ photo of your family for Christmas.
–
So, take a look at the details below and see what you think.
Chat it over if you need to and then email me as soon as you can to reserve a spot on Saturday October 30th – there will be limited sessions available.
And yes, this year, you will receive 40 of the most amazing Xmas Gift Tags – custom designed with you and some of your photos from your session. The tags will double as a bookmark so everyone will want one. Your personal Christmas message can be printed on the reverse side and the best part is that they can also be mailed to your friends and family, not just attached to your gifts.
–
And in case you didn’t realise, the props will be Xmas themed … so think presents, reindeer ears, decorations, mistletoe and a whole lot more!
–
Hope you love this idea as much as I do for this year’s Christmas Mini Sessions.
Take care,
Leanne
jamie + annette + charlotte
I was really looking forward to photographing Annette and her family.
You see, baby Charlotte, turned one just days before our session and Annette and Jamie wanted to time it around her first birthday.
The nicest part of all was that the photo shoot was a gift from Jamie’s mum – a Christmas gift that they were saving for this special milestone.
–
We met early on Sunday morning, texting each other just an hour before we were due to meet.
The weather was overcast and gloomy and it had rained the night before
…. but thankfully we took a chance and we managed to dodge the rain.
–
I have to say, that some of these photos are my most favourite ever from a session.
Charlotte is an absolute doll – just take a look at a small handful from the day!
I love all things sentimental, so when Annette asked to change Charlotte into a dress that belonged to herself when she was One, I was thrilled.
–
Isn’t she devine!
–
Thank you Jamie and Annette for asking me to photograph your family.
I hope you love them as much as I do!
You have such a precious little girl in Charlotte – enjoy!
Latest deliveries!
So often I don’t get a chance to photograph all the beautiful products that arrive before they get sent away to be enjoyed by the family that ordered them.
.
I managed to snap a few pics of some recent ones including a gorgeous canvas from this family’s session – it’s definately a favourite and already hanging in their home.
And a canvas of my boys to be enjoyed near their play room.
Larger than life – oh I love this!
And these stylish black and white prints, matted and framed. They will be hung as a set of four and will be such a wonderful keepsake for this family.
Stumbled across this!
Tonight, while I was glancing through my own personal photos, I stumble across this one taken a couple of months ago.
Something about it made me take a closer look – I love it for so many reasons.
I love the sun flare – that gorgeous glow in the distance reminding me of that late afternoon play in the park that day with my family.
I love Ethan’s confident stance on the scooter.
I love the worn sneakers and the worn wheel – from practicing so much.
–
There is so much for me to love about this photo and nothing about the actual way it was taken.
It’s so true that when I ask parents to choose their favourite’s from a session, it’s rarely the ones that I love.
They choose the photos that ‘speak to them from the heart’ and that’s wonderful.

This one does it for me!
Paris’ 16th fashion shoot party – PART 2
As promised, here is part 2 of the super cool party that was held at Paris’ home to celebrate her 16th birthday party. Jess, her mum, had so many terrific ideas and set up a photo booth for the girls to grab their favourite prop and have some crazy fun in front of the camera.
–
At the start of the party, I photographed each of the girls alone for 5 minutes – a private fashion shoot.
They were gorgeous – each one of them in their own way – and we had lots of laughs!
Thanks for making my job so easy – you girls were naturals!
And by the end of the photo shoot, we all headed out to the street to do some group shots.
How gorgeous are these girls!!! They look like they’re straight out of a fashion magazine.
Thanks again for asking me to be part of the best 16th birthday party I’ve ever seen. It was so much fun to photograph you all – enjoy your photos and I’ll have your private online gallery up in the coming week so you can see a whole lot more beautiful images.
paris’ 16th birthday – fashion shoot party
I seriously have the coolest clients.
I was really looking forward to this party after meeting with Jessica (Paris’ mum). She had so many wonderful ideas and was keen to follow up on anything I had to say to make her daughter’s 16th birthday absolutely memorable … and it was!
I arrived to be greeted by incredible attention to detail. I loved the vintage typewriter where the girls could type a birthday message for Paris – some had never used a real typewriter before. I also loved the adhesive chalk boards on the wall – one with the menu for the dinner party that evening. The candy bar was adorable, the table was set beautifully and the mocktail bar was fantastic.
Enjoy this sneak peek and be sure to drop by over the coming days to see how gorgeous each of the girls were in their mini fashion shoot with me.
jordan’s album
I’ve had quite a few album orders arriving these last few weeks and this was definately one I was extra keen to get my hands on.
You may recall Jordan’s photo session not that long ago – take a look here.
–
This is a beautiful 10×10 leather covered album and the 20 sides are wonderfully thick and sturdy.
There are so many photos inside and I know it will be a great reminder of her fantastic day.
And I wanted to share a couple of photos of Peta – who was one of the many girls that attended the Pre-dinner party – doesn’t she look incredible !
Makes me wish I was planning my School Formal again.
nick + vanessa + ashton + liam
I was in Melbourne last week and was so pleased to photograph Vanessa and her gorgeous family. She had booked the session a while back and although we have known each other through the internet for some time, we had never met. She was just as I expected – a really lovely and genuine person and her family were the same.
–
We met at a location that Vanessa chose and it was a glorious Melbourne winter day. The boys came with their favourite soft toy as well as a change of clothes and a child size sports car that had been given to them by their grandad – it was alot of fun.
–
Enjoy this handful of my favourite photos!
It was truly my pleasure to spend the afternoon with you and your family.
I hope these photos give you much joy.
