Word Of Mouth

All of my business so far has come from word of mouth and I’m so thankful for the friends and clients who have referred me to their friends.

Some of you may remember the lovely 5th birthday that I photographed not that long ago for Miss Olivia. It was a delightful party with amazing details from Olivia’s mum, Sharnel, who created the most superb Candy Bar along with plenty of other gorgeous touches.

January 2010 Sydney Sessions

Hooray!
Finally, I have the dates that I’ll be coming to Sydney in January next year.
I’m looking forward to a great time at a workshop
as well as a day and a half having fun with some photo sessions.
Some session times have already been reserved
and I’m really looking forward to meeting these families and photographing them.
Here are the dates I’ll be down:

Monday 11 January 2010 – 7pm sunset beach session – RESERVED
Tuesday 12 January 2010 – workshop – no sessions
Wednesday 13 January 2010 – 10.30am Centenial Parklands session – RESERVED

I’ve been meaning to add this session to my blog for a while and as you know,
time just gets away from you.
I had the pleasure of photographing good friends,
Michelle and Jason as well as Jason’s extended family.
It was a gift for Jason’s Mum – her 6oth birthday.

Invitations and other things!

I’ve had the most fun recently creating invitations and envelope labels and all sorts of wonderful goodies for a client who I photographed not that long ago. She is soon to be celebrating her 40th birthday which will be a glamorous affair and I’m fortunate to be photographing the big event. On top of that, I was given the task to create her invitations and other bits and pieces for the big celebration. While I can’t show you all the bits inside this box just yet, I thought I’d give you a sneak peak of it. It’s so great when you get to work with clients who give you free reign.

I’m so glad I looked at these photos again – I found this one of Joshua that makes my heart melt. He can be a little challenging to photograph at times but as you would all know, all you need is one photo that speaks to you – this one does it for me!

Aren’t these the loveliest – had to take a couple of photos of these gorgeous KALE – yes, Kale … that’s cabbage isn’t it? A gift to a friend I was visiting.

Location hunting

A couple weeks ago, I went in search for a location for the Xmas Mini sessions. I took along my family and my camera and took some photos. I had almost forgotten about them until today simply because I thought I really hadn’t captured anything worth showing. I’m so glad I had time to process these today. Here are a few of my favourites!

Photo Talk

Just a quick post to say that I may be heading to Sydney in mid-January 2010 for a couple of days.
I’ve had interest from a couple of families about photographing them if I’m ever in Sydney or Melbourne. If anyone is interested in a family shoot that time of the year, please contact me for more information on leannestamatellos@hotmail.com
Sessions include 1 hour of photographing you and your family in an outdoor location. I will send you a disc with high resolution images processed by myself as well as five photographs printed on high quality professional photographic paper in 5×7 size.

I’ve been working on quite a few things lately ….
like getting these images out to the lovely Sharnel.
Thanks for the opportunity to photograph a gorgeous party.

I’m also working on another project for a friend’s 40th Birthday.
I can’t share the details, but she’s given me free reign to design her invitations
and address labels, save the date and a few other top secret things that I can’t say just yet.
On top of that, I’ll have the pleasure of photographing her celebration.
This will be an amazing event – October can’t come quick enough!

Yes, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas!
I’m excited to be offering a handful of Christmas Mini Sessions
on the weekend of the 10th & 11th October for $220.
The session will include a 30 minute outdoor photo shoot for up to 5 people.
You will receive a disc with your images from the session as well as
20 Personalised Christmas Cards and Envelopes .
